We are excited about the upcoming Exhibition of Learning taking place the evening of Wednesday, April 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This is an important event for our Middle School students and we hope you’ll put the date on your calendar. It is a wonderful opportunity for our parents, your family and friends (all are welcome!) to serve as an authentic audience for all students. Part of this process is giving students the chance to share their work in the Humanities and STEM disciplines in a meaningful way, and provide the space for adult feedback from within the entire community, not just our Westside faculty and staff.
We will start the evening in the MPR, travel to various starting points in the Middle School and then rotate through the exhibits in the different grade levels. We want our entire audience to see all the projects so students will be interacting with the adults beyond friends and family – the authentic audience! Hope to see you then!
We sincerely appreciate the efforts, time and talent of our middle school students and parent volunteers who contributed to the Service Learning Auction projects for this year’s SPIRIT Auction!
Marc Saks, Division Head Middle School
