Seventh grade adventures in the Cascades

Posted on

The seventh grade students spent the week of Middle School fall trips backpacking in the Cascade Mountains near Cle Elum, WA. Trips like this provide a powerful start to the year as small groups of students live, play, and travel together through incredible mountain scenery. This trip provided great opportunities for continued outdoor skill development as students filtered their own water, cooked their own food, navigated the trail, and made a new home in tents each night. As you’ll see, students saw wild animals, explored rivers and lakes, learned to cross streams, played games, and had great adventures!
