Throughout this semester, the students of the Game Making and Robotics class have been working on designing and creating their own independent games on their iPads. On Monday March 30, the students visited the Indie Game Revolution at the Experience Music Project. This exhibit showcases 18 independent games allowing visitors to test-play as well as listen to stories from the designers about their games, their struggles, and successes. The students were encouraged to play a game to fully experience the story-telling, designs, and animations as they compare the independent game industry to the major blockbuster games we see out in the market today.
