Last Friday, fifth grade students turned their Humanities classroom into an 18th century coffeehouse base on the novel, Fever, 1793. Students dressed as characters they created through their own research, enjoyed fresh baked, 18th century pastries and tea, engaged political discussions regarding the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and played board games such as cribbage and backgammon.
