The Westside School play structure is coming! Installers and concrete trucks will be erecting the play structure this week. Workers will be onsite between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. It is anticipated the structure will be complete by the end of this week and the manufactured wood chips will be blown in on Monday, October 5. It is our hope the area will be good to play on beginning on Tuesday, October 6!

Time to say ‘Cheese!’ Picture Day is on Thursday, October 15. Students are encouraged to look their best and be present that day for their school portrait. Order your children’s portraits by clicking here. The Westside School Picture Day ID is LS615366Q0. All individual portraits and class photos will be taken on Thursday, October 15. A make-up day for individual portraits is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18. Class photos will not be re-taken. If you have any questions about Picture Day please contact Jessica E. Friday October 9 is a teacher in-service day. We will be offering childcare for students in kindergarten through eighth grade from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and for students in pre-kindergarten from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If your child is going to be enrolled in childcare, please send them with a morning snack and lunch. An afternoon snack will be served. Register for childcare here.

Let’s keep belongings out of the Lost & Found! FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
WPO is excited to announce the first Westside School Family Movie Night of the year!

Doors open: 5:30 p.m.
Concession Stand: Pizza, popcorn and other snacks will be available for purchase downstairs in the lunchroom before movie starts.
Running Time: One hour and forty-two minutes, you’ll be on your way home by 8:00 p.m.
Dress code: Come in your jammies, bring your sleeping bag and get ready to have a little movie fun.
