Insider middle school

Haiku is a learning management system that provides an online interface between teachers, students, and parents. It is where assignments are posted, conversations take place, digital work can be turned in, learning resources shared, and where the teachers’ grade books live. Learning to navigate Haiku can be challenging and for that reason students, especially fifth grade students, spend time in class learning the basics.

We will be hosting a parent orientation on Thursday, October 15, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the theater and again on Monday October 19, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the theater. Parents will receive their parent log-ins on October 12 via advisor emails. This will give read-only access to your student’s Haiku classes. Last year’s log-ins will also be reissued and are still active.

Have a great week,

Marc Saks, Middle School Head
