We had our biannual Middle School Exhibition of Learning this past Wednesday, December 2. It was rewarding to see our students rise to the challenge of sharing their work with an adult audience, many of whom the students were speaking with for the first time. This is a powerful forum for our students and is a part of their learning process as well as a celebration of their work.
The projects started weeks ago and were initially shared with some of our Lower School classes. The students had fun interacting with the younger members of our community and learned to adjust their presentation style and content depending on the audience. Students still had the proverbial butterflies as they got ready for the evening event and learned their preparations were worth the effort as they communicated with confidence to and with their adult audience. Big thanks to all who participated!
We will have a World Language EOL on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 and second STEM and Humanities EOL of the school year on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
