Insider lower school

Due to a very packed spring schedule, the Lower School has elected to cancel the Exhibition of Learning scheduled for this Thursday, May 26. We hope you enjoy the variety of student work that will be on display during the Spring Fling on June 2nd at 6:30 p.m. as well as the many individual classroom presentations and gatherings that are scheduled throughout our final weeks.

Ask our kids and they will tell you – Field Day is one of their favorite activities. This year Field Day will take place on Friday, June 3, and as always, we need our parents help to make this possible. We start with a pizza lunch and awards presented by Emily Gussin, followed by the always-popular fourth grade donut-eating spectacle! Games will then begin as groups move through activities and we will finish with popsicles.

As mentioned, this event is not possible without volunteers so please sign up now!!!!

Insider middle school

We invite you to join our Middle School students for the spring Exhibition of Learning (EOL) tomorrow evening, Tuesday, May 24, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Students have been working hard to prepare their presentations and share their work with the Westside School school community. We hope you can join us!

Congratulations to the cast and crew, as well as Sue Boyum and Sophia Tolentino, for a magnificent performance of The Wizard of Oz!

Westside Insider Athletics

Westside School’s Track & Field Team finished the year in style on Saturday, May 21 taking home the third place trophy in the AAA meet. Additionally, our fifth grade boys won the grade level championship. The team had great placements across the board, and all 66 athletes contributed this year. Thank you to all the parents, faculty, alumni, coaches, and community members for coming out and supporting the team this year! GO WOLVES!
